Stephen Wallace currently serves First State Bank as a Wealth Management & Trust Associate. Stephen specializes in bridging the gap between rigorous compliance and exceptional client service. His transition into the Wealth Management & Trust department follows a successful five-year tenure in BSA/AML compliance, where he was responsible for the accurate filing of CTRs and SARs and assisting with federal audits. In his current role, he is focused on optimizing digital workflows through Synergy and Cheetah, ensuring that client folders and administrative reviews meet our strict quality control standards. Stephen currently manages day-to-day vendor relations and is committed to the operational excellence that defines our institution. Stephen holds a certificate in Trust Administration through the American Bankers Association and just completed the Complete Trust Fundamentals Course through Texas Bankers Association.
