Person-to-Person Payments Have Never Been More Convenient
First State Bank’s Person-to Person (P2P) Payments allow you to transfer funds from your account to any recipient’s bank account—all from the convenience of your mobile phone. All you need is the other person’s cell phone number and/or email address. Plus, the recipient doesn’t even have to be a First State Bank customer!

How P2P Payments Work
To utilize P2P Payment service, you will need an FSB Mobile Banking account and an FSB debit card. The recipient will be notified of your payment by text or email and can enter their card or account information through the secure link. If the recipient’s debit card will not validate or accept payment, they can enter both a bank routing number and account number. They too receive credit to their bank account via ACH.

No fees are charged to either you or the recipient. Using P2P Payments, you can transfer up to $500 a day, as long as you have the available card limit and the funds in your account. If, after 10 days, the recipient does not claim the funds, your money will be returned to your account. Should you accidentally provide an incorrect cell phone number or email address, you can contact First State Bank to cancel the transfer before payment is collected.
