Chartered in 1905, First State Bank is the oldest state bank in Texas. Our first location was in Gainesville, Texas and, even though we no longer occupy the original site, we still have two Gainesville locations and 10 additional locations spanning throughout the North Texas counties of Collin, Cooke, Denton, Grayson, Montague and Wise. Combining the friendly customer service of hometown banking with innovation and technology, we bring you a legacy of banking experience
Our greatest accomplishment is our ongoing dedication to our community and the people we serve. The commitment of our employees, officers and directors, along with the support of the community, have enabled First State Bank to attain the distinction of being Texas's first state-chartered bank to reach the centennial milestone. We are proud of our past and excited about what the future has to offer
