Mike Doss

Mike Doss serves as Executive Vice President for First State Bank’s Central Texas region, bringing more than 31 years of banking experience. Throughout his career, he has worked with clients ranging from community businesses to corporate banking, specializing in commercial banking and real estate finance across a variety of asset classes. Mike is passionate about building strong relationships, developing successful teams, and helping local businesses achieve long-term growth.

A dedicated community leader, Mike has served in leadership roles with numerous organizations throughout Central Texas. He currently serves on the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority Board and as Chair of Strategic Planning for the YMCA of Central Texas. His previous community involvement includes the Round Rock Chamber (Past Chair), Austin Area Research Organization, RBI Austin, Georgetown Country Club, and various Citizens Bond Committees and PACs. Mike says his most rewarding role has been coaching his children’s baseball, football, basketball, and other sports teams.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, their three grown children, and grandchild. He also enjoys golf, pickleball, traveling, hunting, working out, reading, and cheering on his beloved Georgia Bulldogs.
