Ben Hughes

Ben Hughes currently serves First State Bank as an Assistant Vice President & Investment Advisor.  Ben was a Financial Services Professional in Denton, Texas for 5 years prior to joining the Wealth Management & Trust team at First State Bank in January 2023.

Graduating and playing college football at SMU equipped Ben with the skills needed to be a supportive teammate and financial coach that helps clients achieve their goals. Playing a role in someone’s financial journey and seeing it through to the end is one of his greatest joys.  He is always ready to meet someone new and see where he can help.

Ben currently lives in Denton, TX with his wife and four children.
